Optech: the fibre optics that finish the bill of materials

Transceivers from SFP to OSFP, DAC and AOC cables, patch cords, media converters and loopbacks — accurate lead times since 2001, held in UK stock so the switch and the optics ship together.

Why Optech

The part that holds up the whole install

A switch without the right optic is a paperweight on install day. Optech has manufactured optical transceivers and cabling for data centre, telecom and AIoT customers since 2001, with the lead-time discipline and quality control that lets us stock the parts resellers actually need and quote them alongside the switching.

Tell pre-sales the switch model, the distance and the fibre type and we'll specify the compatible transceiver or cable — no guesswork, no returns.

The range

  • Transceivers: SFP, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP+, QSFP28, QSFP-DD, OSFP
  • DAC direct-attach and AOC active optical cables
  • Patch cords OM1–OM4, all connector types
  • Media converters and loopback testers

Coded for the switch you're quoting

Optics compatible with the Zyxel and TP-Link switching we sell — specified together, shipped together.
